HD2 SEALS
Our HD2 Seal Is a very efficient Bi-Directional Hydrodynamic Seal which has been used to overcome reliability problems experienced in other seals & particularly in Transmissions.
Our seal design is similar to the normal rubber seals & the refinement is in the local design details for the innermost areas of the lips where we add moulded protrusions (aids) close to the contact zone. The pumping effect of the “aids” generates a thicker-than-normal oil film in the contact zone under the lip reducing rubbing friction & cooling the lip/shaft interface.
